As long as she has a nice *ss that I can look at from that nice 3rd person view... ha, ha /jk
No but seriously, I think it would be nice to have a female character. Especially if she is a bad *ss like Private Vasquez in the Aliens movie. A character like that would be pretty cool.
Almost 3 million sold? That's really good for a western RPG. The 360 has a nice diversity of different genres on tap.
Good job. Fable 2 is one of my favorite western RPGs this gen. Mass Effect is one of the others I loved. The 360 is a fantastic RPG console.
Why the hell isn't this coming to the 360? That just sucks.
I'd say Halo Wars was pretty close to AAA. There are also a lot more great games to come later this year.
My 360 is gathering dust even though I play it all the time. Oh no, what do I do?
I'm a 360 fan and even I agree that Heavenly Sword was an under-appreciated gem. The cinematics in that were second to none and the story was really well-done. I would love to see a sequel for that.
I can't wait for Alan Wake, but I agree with the person above me, Mass Effect 2 is going to be even better.
A certain God of War rip off but it looks pretty good anyway.
I'll say one thing guys, Sony has a great first party.
I own both consoles and I can tell you, there isn't a damn bit of difference in the type of people found on each service. There are nice people on both services and there are a-holes on both services --in basically the same proportions. The main difference is, as cherrypie pointed out, that Xbox Live gives you a lot more tools to deal with the a-holes than PSN does.
Once and for all, both Xbox Live and PSN use P2P and dedicated servers. It is up to the developers. The difference is in the features and in this regard Live surpasses PSN. PSN feels like such a bare bones service and I would gladly pay if they could bring it up to the level of Xbox Live.
Xbox LIVE has a hundred little touches that make it feel integrated and give you a real sense of being connected to a community. I simply don't get the same feeling from PSN. $30 to $50 dollars a year is a small price to pay to get what LIVE offers, in my opinion.
Come on guys, the graphics aren't that bad at all. In fact, they are pretty good overall. If you can enjoy a game like Resistance or FEAR you can certainly enjoy a game like Halo 3.
Halo 3 has above average textures and really outstanding HDR lighting. It looks better to me than Resistance and I still enjoy Resistance from time to time.
Besides, graphics don't mean much if the gameplay isn't good. And Halo 3 has excellent gameplay.
No, it's called pointing out how hypocritical many of these PS3 fanboys are that feel the need to constantly bash Halo, while they are perfectly willing to hype the next Gran Turismo game or Ratchet & Clank 9.
Just because YOU think a franchise is being milked doesn't mean that others of us feel the same way. I don't feel like Halo has been overdone whatsoever. Having only Halo 3 after the 360 being on the market for over 3 and a half years I am more than ready for some mor...
The third was in no way "meh". The vast majority of reviewers on the planet disagree with you. The millions of people playing the game daily also disagree with you. Then again, I wouldn't expect PS3 fanboys to say anything else.
You might have thought it was lacking, but I don't agree at all. Halo 3 is even today one of the best shooters on any console. It seems a lot of reviewers felt the same way.
That would be amazing and would really breath new life into our catalog of Xbox 360 games.
Performance issues are one of the things that bother me the most about a lot of games this generation. I would rather have a game with much reduced graphical quality that runs well, with a steady frame rate, good anti-aliasing, no screen tearing and very little texture or geometry pop-in than a game that tries to push better graphics but has technical performance issues.

Don't worry about this. If developers are just getting info and tentative specs for the next Xbox we probably won't be seeing this console for at least two years. This is going by what has traditionally been the time frame in the past between when developers get early specs and when the console is actually released to market.
So, probably two years until we see a new Xbox. But even after the new Xbox is released, the 360 will still be supported by Microsoft. They have every r...
Demos are always a good idea. A lot of people might overlook a game like this, but if it is any good people will be able to see that by playing the demo. The time control mechanics actually sound pretty interesting and the game looks like it will probably be solid. I will have to give it a shot when it shows up on the marketplace.
